Buzzard Has Career High In Lady Squires Win Over Eastern

The Manchester Lady Squires came out strong Tuesday against Eastern as they defeated the Lady Comets 61-35.

The ladies played tough defensively as they were able to create some chaos and score off of transition. The Lady Comets hung in the game throughout the second half until the Lady Squires picked it up in the 4th quarter to finish the game. Brookelynn Buzzard had a career high with 31 points, while she also led the team in assists with 6 and added 6 rebounds. Gracie Lauer had 7 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Emma Walker had 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals. Kim Schroll had 4 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 2 steals. Molly Schannep added 2 points and 3 rebounds. Peyton Ream had 2 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 assists. Ava Sautter added 6 points while Hadley West and McKelvey Espeset each had 2.

The Lady Squires jv won big tonight against Eastern 47-4. They came out with a lot of energy and effort that pressured the Lady Comets into some quick turnovers. They forced 18 steals which transitioned into points on the offensive end. They aslo rebounded well, pulling down 23 offensive rebounds to give themselves second chances.
