Boys Varsity Basketball falls to Mississinewa 47 – 45

he Eagles dropped their first CIC game in over 2years, as they fell to Mississinewa 45-47. After starting strong, the Eagles saw the Indians hit from behind the arch early an often as Mississinewa converted on 9 three-pointers in the game. The Indians won the first three quarters by 1, 3, and 3, before the Golden Eagles came all the way back to take a 1 point lead late in the 4th quarter, but fell short in the end falling by 2. TY Fagan battled foul trouble and the Indians doing most of the damage for the Eagles in the scoring and rebounding department scoring a team high 17, and pulling down several rebounds. Jace Tonagel added 14 points and a couple assists. RJ Shugart was next with 4, followed by Trexler and Sweet with 3 each, and Colin Middlesworth and Jackson Lamb with 2 each. The Eagles have to turn around tomorrow and face a tough Maconaquah team on the road with the JV tip off at 6 PM.
