Northfield Girls Wrestlers Have Night Of Firsts
Northfield hosted Blackford and Peru’s girls wrestling teams Thursday. The event was the first-ever all-girls wrestling event in Northfield’s history.
Continuing a night of firsts, the girls wrestled under the school’s brand-new spotlight, which Millwright Solutions LLC generously donated. Approximately 100 Northfield Wrestling Fans came to support the Lady Norsemen by wearing pink!
Northfield went undefeated for the evening, beating Blackford (12-6) and Peru (18-6).

The Lady Norsemen next travel to Central Noble High School this Saturday to compete in the Cougar Girls Wrestling Invitational.
