The Huntington North Lady Vikes girls basketball teams swept 3 games against FW Dwenger last night.
A quick start for the varsity, led to an 18-5 1st quarter lead. The Lady Vikes defense led to its offense, scoring in transition early to help gain the lead. The Vikes led at the half 26-12 with Haiden Bailey having 11 first half points. The 3rd quarter was more of the same with the Vikes extending the lead, outscoring Dwenger 23-4. In the fourth, with the clock running, the Vikes bench got into the action and closed out the game winning 55-21. The was the Lady Vikes 3rd win in a row, while holding their opponents under 22 points. The next home game will be Saturday night against conference opponent Leo.

The JV Lady Vikes had a come from behind victory over Dwenger Wednesday night winning 26-23. Ella Doyle sank four free throws in the final minute to help give the Vikes the win. Harper Bailey and Addi Funk each score 8 pts and Doyle added 7 in the win. Next game Saturday at home against Leo at 6pm.
The Lady Vikes basketball Freshman team won 28-20.
Emma Richard led the scoring with 11 points. Haley Doyle chipped in 8 points.
