Girls Varsity Basketball beats North Miami 46 – 31

In a physical battle from start to finish, the Lady Kings found ways to keep their winning efforts going with a 46-31 victory over the North Miami Warriors. Kinsey Mennen led the charge producing another huge game for the Kings scoring a game high 13 points, pulling down a game high 7 rebounds, and having a game high 4 blocks. Aftin Griffin, again had another night in double digits, putting up 12 points as she went 6 for 8 from the free throw line. Other scorers for the Kings were Anna Hedrick, Faith Helvie, and Mylie Sipe with 5 points each. Heta Kosunen added 4 points to the total as she also earned a team high 3 steals. Kylie Logan was also able to add 2 point to the total.

The Lady Kings improve to 15-2 on the season and 5-0 in the conference. The Kings face the Rochester Zebras on Saturday who are currently in 2nd place in the conference with a 5-1 record.

Cass Wrestling Makes a Comeback to Defeat Peru

After falling behind 24-0, Cass came back to defeat Peru 42-36. The big matches of the night were Eli Martin defeating Keaton Ousley by fall and Kamaron Hall finishing off the Tigers with a pin in the final match of the night.
