Boys Varsity Basketball beats Eastbrook 53 – 39

The Oak Hill boys basketball team defeated CIC and County rival Eastbrook 53 to 39 on the road tonight. The Golden Eagles came out and dominated the first half with their excellent defensive play holding the Panthers to four points in the first quarter and seven points in the second quarter taking a 24–11 lead into halftime. In the third quarter the Golden Eagles and the Panthers went back-and-forth in scoring as the Eagles won that quarter 16 to 13. The Eagles defense did the job tonight! Scoring for the Eagles: Jace Tonagel led with 22 points for the game. Ty Fagan sealed the deal in the fourth quarter scoring 10 of his 12 points. Levi Trexler finished with nine points. Trenton Sweet finished with five, R. J. Shugart finished with three, and Jackson Lamb who had some really good minutes off the bench finished with two points. That concludes a four game in seven day span winning three out of the four. The Eagles get a much needed break and will host Alexandria next Friday night.
