Squires Win Rematch Over Apaches
The Manchester and Wabash boys basketball teams played their county championship rematch Friday at Wabash with the Squires defeating the Apaches 65-58.
Manchester led 17-12 after the first stop and 25-24 at the half. The game was tied 37-47 after three before the Squires pulled away with 2:00 left in the game for the 65-58 final.
Manchester scoring : Garrett Sites 2, Wyatt Prater 3, Tyler McClain 4, Ethan Hendrix 18, Gavin Betten 27, Gavin Martin 8, Kaleb Kline 3.
Wabash scoring : Trevor Daughtry 11, Kaden Vogel 6, Grant Ford 9, Alex Dinkins 5, Izaak Wright 27.
Manchester won the junior varsity game 50-19.
