Lady Squires Fall In Sectional Opener

The Manchester girls basketball team lost their sectional opener to Bluffton 57-47 Tuesday night.

The game consisted of runs for both teams, but the ladies never quit. Down 12 at one point in the first half, the ladies cut the lead to 4 at halftime.

Out of halftime, Bluffton went on another run, but was stopped as the Lady Squires cut the lead once more down to 4. Bluffton knocked down some big shots, to increase their lead in the 4th quarter that Manchester could not overcome. They finished the season 14-9, and we are very proud of the growth this program has shown.
