Manchester Softball Routes New Haven

The Manchester softball team opened the season with a bang, defeating New Haven 18-3 Tuesday.

Plate discipline and chaos on the bases led to a big offensive night. Molly Schannep scattered 7 hits in the circle while not walking a batter for the complete game win. Leading the way with the bat were Paxton Baker with 2 hits,2 RBI and 4 runs scored. She also swiped 3 bases. Ava Sautter singled and scored along with 2 RBI and 3 stolen bases. Hadley West, Raegen Shah both singled and Ariah Dillon chipped in with a double.
