Northfield Golf Cuts Down Giants

Northfield Varsity golf traveled to Marion Elks in their first away match Thursday. The Norsemen grabbed their 5th win on the season with a 162 over Marion to bring their record to 5-1.

Tyson Baer snagged medalist with a 37, followed by Easton Shaw with a 38. Ryder Schram finished well on the day scoring a 43 for his best round of 9 on the season. Tristan Hoffman and Gavin Brainard both carded a pair of 44’s and Hank Gray rounded out the night with a 52. The Norse performed extremely well in what was all 6 players first time playing at the Marion Elks course. They will look to expand into the weekend for the first 18 hole invite of the season at Sycamore on Saturday.
