American League Opening Day

Opening day American League results:

In game one, it was the Wabash Welding Services Braves defeating the Todd Adams State Farm Giants 16-1
For the Braves: Leland Wesley pitched 4 innings and had 12 strike outs, Reece Ritter added a 2 run double. Giants Manager, Jake Dials said we did muster out one run, and had some young pitchers get some experience today.

In game two, the Zimmerman Law Office Pirates came back to get the win over the Kalenborn Wear Protection Services Orioles 12-4
For the Pirates, In his first start, Weston Pretorius struck out three. Myles Holley and Dexter Freeman combined to strike out seven over the final three innings leading the American League Pirates to a 12-4 victory. In addition to pitching, Freeman also went two for two with two runs scored and four RBI’s. Quinten Poe chipped in with a single and two runs scored and two RBI’s. Cousin Brayden “Bam Bam” Poe also had a single with two runs scored and a RBI. The game ball went to Tynliegh “Cat” Caitan who hit a towering double as well as a hard hit single and had five RBI’s in her first game with the Pirates of Wabash. There were no results given from the Orioles.

The final game of the day was the Lundquist Realty Red Sox defeating the Trophy Center Plus Tigers 26-10.
For the Red Sox, Laurel Darland hit her first ever career Home Run. Colton McCoart and Max Gillenwater carried the team with awesome pitching. Manager, Shane King said it was a great team win.
For the Tigers, Riddik Dietrich pitched two great innings, also had 2 hits and an RBI
Trey whybrew 2 hits and an RBI.
Isaac Eppley “big boy” added a double.
