Southwood Baseball Scores Double Digits Second Straight Game

The Southwood baseball team defeated South Adams 14-3 Thursday.

The offense put up 4 quick runs in the first inning and never looked back. A 9 run 6th inning sealed the deal. Everyone got in the game and was able to contribute. For the second straight game, the pitcher went the distance for the Knights. Ryan Deeter dominated the Starfire lineup from the first inning on. At the plate, the Knights were led by Jaret Denney who picked up a home run and another ball that was inches from making it a two home run night.
