The golden eagles were defeated in 6 innings by a good Bruin team. Peyton Workman had a solo HR and a single for Oak Hill.

Boys Varsity Golf falls to Frankton 168 – 182

It was the battle of the Eagle’s tonight at Elwood Golf Course, and the Frankton Eagles defeated the Oak Hill Eagles. The Eagles were led by Carson Hess with a 42. The Eagles are back in action tomorrow vs Tipton.

Varsity Softball beats Blackford 8 – 0

The Lady Eagles started off by scoring five runs in the first inning. Alivia Shaw started it off with a base hit. Then stole second on a fake bunt by Evie Holz. Evie hit a grounder to first to move Shaw to third. Jolee Hawkins came up and it a line shot to right, who caught it, but Shaw tagged up and scored. Karsyn Wiley hit a single up the middle. Madison Archer had a shot that the pitcher barely touched and singled. Bella Foustnight slapped and made it to first to load the bases. Lex Myers came up and waited on a change up and drove in two runs on her single. Then Zoey Bragg slammed one into left center for a double and two RBIs.

The Eagles scored another run in the third inning. Madison Archer lead off with a single and was advanced to second by Bella Foustnight’s slap. Then Lex Myers laid a beautiful bunt for a single and advanced Bella to third. Then Zoey Bragg hit a hard ball to shortstop for an RBI.

The next inning, Evie Holz slapped and made it to first to start it off. Then with two outs, Karsyn Wiley had a single to right field. Then Archer hit a single to score the run.

The last run was scored in the fifth. Lex Myers started it off with a hit up the middle and then on the first pitch, Mya Rennaker who came in to run, stole second base. The ball was overthrown and Rennaker took third and on that throw, the ball went into the dugout, so Rennaker scored at home.

Archer and Myers lead the team with three hits each. Lex Myers also had two RBIs and Archer had one.

Evie Holz and Karsyn Wiley both had two hits for the game.

Karsyn Wiley pitched the first five innings and had seven strikeouts and only allowed four hits. Macie Foustnight finished the last two innings and had three strikeouts and only allowed two hits.
