Boys Varsity Golf falls to Tippecanoe Valley 154 – 158

he Tippecanoe Valley Vikings traveled to Logansport Golf Club this evening to take on the Kings in a 9-hole match. The Vikings came out on top in a close match 154-158. The Kings fired their second lowest 9-hole score of the season, but it wasn’t enough to beat Tipp Valley. Wes Parker from Tipp Valley was the individual medalist tonight with a very impressive 2-under par 33. Rylan Stoller was the low King on the night with a 38. Below are individual varsity results:

The JV Kings shot their season low with a 190 to beat Tipp Valley’s 233. Harrison Clark was the JV individual medalist with a 44. Below are individual JV results:

Boys Varsity Track finishes 2nd place against Maconaquah High School

The Lewis Cass Boys track team competed against a tough Maconaquah team on Wednesday night. The Kings competed well, but came up short in the end.

The Lady Kings can’t catch a break, lose 3-6 to the Squires

The Lady Kings travelled to Manchester to face the Squires in a conference show down. The bats were working well on both sides. Both teams plated 27 batters; the Lady Kings struck out twice, but drew 3 walks; the Squires struck out four times, and had one hit by pitch. In a total of 54 plate appearances, the ball was put into play 44 times. Unfortately, the Lady Kings could not find any open dirt or grass for the ball to land in.

Kylie Logan had an RBI double in the second inning, and Kami Silcox had a single in the sixth inning. Hannah Zamora reached on an error by the Squire’s right fielder. Amma Fitzhugh, Kaitlyn Benner, and Emma Hildebrand each drew a walk. Benner, Ava Hubner, and Silcox each scored one run.

Fitzhugh pitched all six innings for the Lady Kings. Striking out four batters, giving up zero walks, but hitting one batter.
