Results from Wabash Little League for Wednesday.

In the only game of the night, the Wabash Hardware Giants defeated the Kendall Electric Yankees by a score of 11-6. For the Giants: Quinton Siders, Connor Krom, Maverick Mattern, Isaac Mattern and Colton Rice all had singles on the night. Gavin Trotter had an RBI double. Bo McWhirt had a 2 RBI single. Barrett Jones added an RBI single. Starting pitcher Quinton Siders had 9 strikeouts. Relief pitcher Maverick Mattern added 2 strikeouts. For the Yankees: Wiley Sorg and Harrison Sorg both had singles. Weston Smith had a single and an RBI double. Jaxten Chambers singled twice on the night. Tytus Dawes had a 2 RBI double. Starting pitcher Weston Smith had 3 strikeouts. Relief pitcher Harrison Sorg added 5 strikeouts and Jaxten Chambers and Tytus Dawes both added 1 strikeout each.

American League Results for Wednesday, May 8.

After a night off due to rain, the American League was back in action Wednesday evening.
The Kalenborn Wear Protection Services Orioles win over the Todd Adams State Farm Giants 9-6.
For the Orioles – Cadian Morgan and Jeremiah Ramsey combined to pitch a great game. Chamberlain Hawkins and Wyatt Poole both had inside the park home runs. Bree Smith had a single and RBI. Trenton Flohr went 2 for 2 at the plate and caught a nice line drive.
For the Giants – Konnor Graf singled his first at bat and struck out four in two innings on the mound.
Otto Case threw two innings, striking out 5 (with one looking). Otto also received the game ball for his efforts.
Both the Orioles and Giants are now 2-3 on the season.
