Results from Peru for Thursday, August 15th

Tigers took on Logansport Berries in a watered down match Thursday night. Peru lead off the night with Zion See finding the back of the net in the first portion of the scheduled scrimmage. The berries and Tigers both did a phenomenal job at keeping the ball under control during the downpour of rain. Both teams showed strength and aggression with each 50/50 ball that occured, neither team backing down from one another. Tigers continue their season with an Away match vs Mississinewa.

Peru traveled to Sycamore Golf Club on Thursday to play against Manchester. The Tigers had to battle rain as well as the golf course, but came out victorious by a score of 208-225. Piercey Dyer was the match medalist with an even par round of 36. Maddie Caldwell shot 54, Raina Nero 57, Bailee Beattie 61, and Gracie Dunnaway finished with a personal best round of 63.

Peru next plays in the Western Invite at Chippendale on Saturday. The tournament is scheduled to begin at 8:00.
