Manchester boys soccer came out strong Thursday, despite some very hot conditions, against Wabash to win 3-0.
The Squires defense behind Simon van, Carson Heath, Holden Poston, Carson McLain, and Evan Mclaughlin did very well tonight to secure the shutout. Scoring tonight was Spencer Kerr assisted by Jaxon Byers, Felix Breil with an unassisted free kick, and Jayden Jimenes with his second goal of the week assisted by Wyatt Schroll.
The Apache defense played a solid game, denying the Squires a lot of good looks at goal. Derek Reed, Jose Robles, and Prestyn Jones were a tight team on the back line.
Ty Carpenter and Max Carpenter each worked hard to generate offense. Brian Palmer had a great game on attack.
Wabash has their third TRC game Saturday when they face new-comer Northwestern.
