The Lady Eagles battled a tough Northwestern team that ultimately ended in a 1-1 tie. After the first half, the Eagles and Tigers were tied at 0. In the second half, the Eagles struck first with a goal from Landri Hardman. Later in the half, Northwestern scored, which tied the game. Liz Godfrey had 7 saves in goal. The Lady Eagles will travel to Mississinewa on Tuesday evening, 6pm start.

The OHXC Lady Eagles finished a strong 4th in Saturday’s 13 Team Oak Hill Invitational. The Lady Eagles put 5 runners in the Top 40 including 3 Top 20 finishers and 2 Top 15 Medalist.

Senior Audrey Woodard led the way earning a medal in 10th in a near personal best time of 21:41. Sophomore Quinn Brunner also earned a medal setting a new personal best time for the 2nd straight week taking 15th in 22:30. Senior Abby Sneed took 20th overall just missing the medal stand in 23:19.

Sophomore Lilly Snyder and Junior Kaitlyn Scalf rounded out the Varsity scoring Top 5 in 34th and 37th respectively. Snyder matched her personal best set just a week ago in 24:17 while Scalf set a new lifetime best in 24:24.

The Freshmen duo of Rossi Skinner and Lilly Hunt both set personal best and rounded out the Varsity Top 7 in 41st and 42nd.

The Lady Eagles were 4th in 107 points edging 5th Place Delta who scored 113. Hamilton Heights won the event with an impressive 29 points.

The Lady Eagles compete again next Saturday September 7th in the Marion Invitational held at Indiana Wesleyan.

The OHXC Golden Eagles finished a respectable 6th in Saturday’s 13 Team Oak Hill Invitational with 149 points. A talented Fairfield team got the better of Golden Eagles for the 2nd straight weekend winning with 60 points. The Golden Eagles were without top runner Junior Corban Tippey who started but was unable to finish the race.

Sophomore Wyatt Hart led the Golden Eagles with a lifetime best run of 18:06 to finish just off the podium in 18th. Classmate Kyle Brower joined Hart in the Top 20 battling into 20th place late in the run.

Senior Owen Roth had a good bounce back race to take 37th followed by Sophomore Eli Leak who was 38th. Leak posted his 2nd straight personal best this season.

Junior Jordan Denham rounded out the Top 5 Varsity Scorers in 46th while Junior Brayden Sommers hampered by illness and Freshman Josh Clark rounded out the Varsity Top 7 in 49th and 54th respectively. Clark set a new personal best in just his 2nd 5k race.

The Golden Eagles are back in action next Saturday September 7th competing in the Marion Invitational held at Indiana Wesleyan.

The OHXC JH Golden Eagles and Lady Eagles started their 2024 seasons Saturday competing in the 14 team Oak Hill Invitational. The Lady Eagles ran tough taking 6th with 152 points while the Golden Eagles were 12th with 263.

Golden Eagle 7th Grader Brantley Blair was the Individual Champion in the boys race winning in an impressive time of 10:35 nearly 30 seconds ahead of 2nd place.

The Young Lady Eagles were led by 7th Grader Verity Bishop and 8th Grader Isabella Ybarra who finished a highly respectable 10th and 16th overall.

The Golden Eagles and Lady Eagles are back in action competing next Saturday September 7th in the Marion Invitational held at Indiana Wesleyan.

The Oak Hill lady Eagles fired a 391 today, their best 18 hole round this year and finished third today in the CIC Championship. The Eagles were led by Isabelle Snyder’s personal best round of 95 and then followed closely by Karsyn Wiley’s 96. Both Isabelle and Karsyn made 1st team all conference, and Sydnie Melton and Belle Malott both made 2nd team all conference with scores of 100. Lauren Williamson shot a good round of 114 to round out the scoring for Oak Hill. The Lady Eagles are back in action on Tuesday at Arbor Trace Golf Course. A special thanks goes out to Arbor Trace Golf Course, and their Pro Doug Piper for running an excellent tournament and allowing us to play at their golf course.
