Manchester Girls Soccer Stops Huntington North

The Manchester Lady Squires soccer team played hard on both ends of the field and came out victorious against Huntington North 2-0 Thursday.

The ladies started out strong as Campbell Bolinger sent a through ball to Ava Sautter who scored in the first 30 seconds of the match. Sautter assisted on the second goal of the half as Samantha Shock netted a beautiful shot just outside the eighteen. Defensively, Addison Brubaker, Molly Schannep, Maggie Ondkerko-White, Chase Blevins, and Karsyn Kamphues played tough and made it difficult on the Lady Vikings.

Cora Brown had her first career shutout with 7 saves in the net. During the second half, Hanna Stout, Raimi Vawter, and Campbell Bolinger created some more opportunities up top to score. Jo Eberly, London Spangle, Olivia Stevens, and Ava Baker also did a great job helping to control the middle
