Results from Tippecanoe Valley for Friday, September 13th
In Death Valley’s first Indiana Northern State Conference game the Vikings fell short to 3A rival Knox by a score of 3 – 26.
The Vikings struggled to move the ball offensively, rushing for 69 yards on 30 attempts. Through the air Valley was 3-14 for 42 yards.
The Wrecking Crew also struggled against the Redskins. Knox moved the ball 213 yards on the ground on 45 carries and also had a pass and catch for 20 yards.
Brandon Stiles led the way for the Vikings with 34 rushing yards on 7 carries. We Parker had 17 yards on 6 carries. Brock Derf picked up 10 yards on 5 rushes. Grady Moriarty had a single carry for 8 yards. Wyatt Hart had 2 carries for 6 yards. Jamison Phillips shared QB duties with Hunter Stage with Phillips throwing 1-8 for 28 yards. Stage threw for 14 yards going 2-6. On the receiving end, Owen Omondi had one catch for 28 yards. Parker had one catch for 17 yards. Moriarty also had a reception.
The lone score for Valley came off a field goal from Gage Overbey at the end of the 1st half.
Death Valley looks to rebound next week when the Vikings travel to LaVille for the second game of the conference schedule. Kickoff is set for 7:00 PM.
