The Manchester and Northfield cross country teams ran in the Maconaquah Invite Saturday.
The Manchester high school girls team finished 5th out of 17 teams at the Maconaquah Invite Saturday. Ayla Cashdollar (2nd), Kadence Fox (6th) and Rachel Steely (16th) led the Squires with strong performances. Hannah Music set a big PR in her 2nd cross country race ever.
The Manchester high school boys finished 5th Saturday at the Maconaquah Invite out of 18 teams. On a warm Saturday morning and after a tough week at practice, there were not many Squire PRs. However, Kyler Dale led the team in 10th and Clark Showalter had a strong race in 27th place.
Varsity Lady Norse ran at Maconaquah this past weekend. Placing 4th overall and receiving a medal was Kaleigh Rice in a time of 20:18. Placing 22nd and 23rd, receiving ribbons was Teagan Baer in 23:07 and Ali Copeland in 23:08. All the girls ran a great race.
The varsity boys placed 11th overall in the Maconaquah Invitational on Saturday. Leading the Norse was Elijah Gahl placing 28th overall running a time of 18:31. Following Gahl was Kourtland Pratt in 19:08, Preston Moore in 19:32, Ryland Miller in 19:36, Tayten Barlow in 20:16, Blake Aderman in 20:43, Nate Hodson in 20:54, Xavier Roark in 21:24, Ethan Hoover in 23:07, Gavin Lester in 23:16, Holten Satterthwaite in 23:22 and Ashton Aderman in 25:59. Setting PR’s for the season this meet was Elijah Gahl, Blake Aderman, Xavier Roark and Ethan Hoover.
