The Manchester Squires football team got the 20-14 victory over Northfield in overtime Friday.
The Squires played a sloppy first have with 3 turnovers and poor execution on defense, But, turned it around in the second half playing fast and aggressive defense and ball security on offense. The Squires started on defense in overtime and held Northfield out of the endzone. It took the squires three plays with Mason Rooney scoring the winning touchdown. The Squires were led on offense by Reiss Gaerte in rushing and Rooney on defense. Gaerte also had a fumble recovery for a touchdown. Squires will host Southwood next Friday at 7:00p.m.
