Girls Varsity Soccer falls to Mississinewa 6 – 2

Peru girls lost to a strong offensive Mississinewa team Saturday. The Indians scored the first goal of the game. To surprise the Indians 2 goals arose from the Tiger offense gaining a 2 to 1 lead but fell short as the game progressed ending the half at 2 to 3. This game was a defensive attack by the Tigers with Correll having 22 saves to add to her stats. Our defensive was mighty and broke down quite a few more that the Indian’s attacked with. Keininger scored two goals for the day assisted by Rodriguez and Hoover. The Tigers will be in action Monday to face Marion to hopefully give a win back to their record.
