The Manchester cross country teams ran in the New Haven regional at Huntington University Saturday. Ayla Cashdollar and Kadence Fox along with Kyler Dale qualified for the state finals.
In a competitive New Haven Regional Meet, the high school girls team finished 15th out of 25 teams to end their season for all but Ayla Cashdollar and Kadence Fox who qualified for the IHSAA State Meet. Ayla Cashdollar (17th) qualified for her second time and Kadence Fox (31st) qualified for her third time. Rachel Steely and Aubrey Carrol ran solid races in 3rd/4th for the Squires. Hannah Music, Maggie Akins, and Shelby Cahill all finished their seasons with a career PR on a tough and hilly course.
With a top 5 average time of 17:32, the boys finished 9th out of 25 teams led by Kyler Dale (17th) who qualified for the IHSAA State Meet. Oliver Fitzpatrick ran a career PR of 17:11 to finish 2nd for the Squires. Clark Showalter, Jet Thomas, and Gabe Selleck had a great pack finishing within 2 seconds of each other. Charlie Van and Wyatt Martin rounded out the 7 who ran for Manchester.
