Izzy Ashba would get the scoring started with a three pointer and with buckets from Alivia Pershing and Lola Winer led 7-2. Eastbrook would then score the next seven points to grab a 9-7 lead before two buckets from Adi Deaton and one from Hailey Collins gave Southwood a 13-9 lead after one.

It looked as though the Knights were going to run away from the Panthers in the third. A bucket from Alivia Pershing and three buckets from Hali Pershing made it 30-21 before Eastbrook scored the next four points. Winer would hit right before the buzzer to put Southwood up 32-25 after three.
