3 girls wrestlers competed at the IHSAA Regionals at Rochester.
Macy Tuggle at 140 lbs. went 0-1.
Gracie Miller at 145 lbs. went 0-1.
Katelynn Leckrone at 190 lbs. went 1-1.
Girls Varsity Basketball beats Mississinewa 46-42
After a slow offensive first half, the Lady Squires’ defense kept them in the game, giving them a 5 point lead at halftime. Mississinewa came back and took the lead in the 3rd quarter. During the fourth quarter, the Lady Squires took care of the ball, hit some big shots, and hit the free throws that they needed to finish the game. They will be back in action at Peru next Tuesday night for another big conference game.

Manchester improved to 11-1 after defeating Lewis Cass 72-30. The Squires started strong with a 32-6 lead after the first quarter, and expanded that lead to 37 at halftime. Leading the way for the Squires was Ethan Hendrix with a career high 31 points and a season high five three pointers. Gavin Betten had 24 along with 10 plus rebounds. Other scorers for the Squires were Tallon Torpy with 5, Kaleb Kline 3, Wyatt Schroll 3, Dallas Martin 2, Nolan Hernandez 2, and Nick Cave 2. The Squires improved to 3-0 in the conference and return to action vs. Wabash next Friday.
