Lady Kings Fall to Rochester in Defensive Showdown, 34-32
The Lady Kings endured a hard-fought defensive battle against Rochester but came up just short, falling 34-32. After trailing by 7 points at halftime, the Lady Kings showed resilience in the third quarter, rallying to tie the game. However, a clutch three-pointer by Rochester late in the game sealed the win for the Zebras.
Mylie Sipe and Anna Hedrick led the Lady Kings offensively, each contributing 8 points. Aftin Griffin and Hope Rush added 5 points apiece, while Ava Hubner chipped in 4 and Presley Johnson scored 2.
The loss moves the Lady Kings to a 13-5 record on the season. They’ll look to bounce back when they host Wabash next Wednesday.
