AJ Kelly played through a contusion to his eye. AJ refused treatment and did not come out of the game. He played great defense throughout the game. When AJ got some foul trouble Jack Gochenour came in and really played well. He didn’t hide. He jumped right in and grabbed rebounds, handled the ball, and played great defense. Landon Adams hit two big 3’s. He guarded very well out front. He helped against the Marion pressure. Fuddy Kile battled the big kids down low. Fuddy has been undersized all year, but it hasn’t mattered. He competes and gets his hands on lots of rebounds. He hit big shots to score 15 huge points. His 8 assists got my attention. Fuddy fills up the stat sheet. Devon Murry did it all in this game. He scored 18 points and really was aggressive against the press. Murry has given us that 4th guy that can score double digits. He has realized that if he can beat one defender he can score because people don’t like to help off our top scorers. Josiah Ball has found a way to raise his play during this run. Ball has done it all. He has scored and really picked up his rebounding. He has been part of our improved efforts to get more lay ups. We have used the bounce pass a lot during these past few weeks. Josiah Ball scored 32 on Marion. He scored in a variety of ways. He was also 11-12 from the free throw line. Another group I want to include is our bench guys. These guys have been doing awesome work getting our first group ready all week. These guys are Jack Gochenour, Caiden Richards, Treson Ambrose, Brody Kubly, Tyler Adams, Tristyn Herschberger, and Braylen Nipper.
