With the season winding down, the Wabash Apaches MS faced a tough challenge Thursday night at Honeywell Golf Course, falling to defending Running River Conference champions Northfield, 187–196.
The loss brings the Apaches to a strong 6–2 record heading into the final week of competition.
Camden McKee once again led the Apaches with a sharp 41. Carson McKee followed with a 50, Micah Spring posted a 51, and Jeffery Small completed the team score with a 54. Also contributing were Liam Losher, Camille Coffman, and Kedryn Evenson, each finishing with a 61.
With just two events remaining — Monday’s match at Columbia City and next Friday’s Running River Conference Tournament — the Apaches will look to finish their season strong and make a statement at conference.
