For the 2nd night in a row, the varsity Golden Eagles baseball team come from behind in extra innings to beat a county rival and win. Oak Hill defeated Mississinewa 9-8 in 8 innings and win the CIC outright going 6-1. Juniors Ayden Pearce (3-run double in the 7th inning with 2 outs) and Beckham Lamb (3 hits and 2 RBI) led us offensively. Mississinewa’s Kenny Ayala was outstanding on the mound and kept us off-balance but we were able to grind out a win despite his great performance for the opponent.

The Oak Hill Eagles battled the Mississinewa Indians tonight at Arbor Trace Golf. The Eagles fired their best team score of the year posting a 153 – 180. The Eagles were led by Trent Nelson 34, Carson Hess 37, Brayden Sommers 39, Corbin Dailey 43, Otto Nero 45, Noah Pickering 48 PB, Fenway Miller 48, and Kayson Bausch 66. The Eagles are back in action Saturday and will play in the CIC Championship.
