
The Manchester boys tennis team lost its third 3-2 match in a row Monday night, Aug. 23, at Churubusco.
The singles duo of Caleb Struble-Hedstrom and Brendyn Mugford each improved to 3-0 on the season. Struble-Hestrom cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 win while Mugford gave up just two games in a 6-1, 6-1 victory.
The Squires welcomed teammate Milo Hupp back into the lineup, who then teamed up with Adam Kerlin at No.2 doubles. The new duo played well but fell short, 6-3, 6-3.
Manchester had to forfeit the No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles matches, to give the team win to the host Eagles.
The Squires travel to Peru Wednesay night, Aug. 27.
