Kerri 1:31 PM (24 minutes ago) to me Junior varsity swept Elwood in two sets last night. Stats and scores are listed below. 25-2 25-2 Lily Johnson led the team with 7 aces off of 24 service attempts. Brylie Speicher had 5 aces also off of 24 service attempts. Both Lily and Brylie had no service errors! Lily Johnson, Elayna Cates and Kora Weller each had 2 kills a piece. Ericah Emery, Clarisse Callens, Sierra Snyder and June Burtner each had 1 kill a piece. Ava David and June Burtner each had 3 digs. Kora Weller ended with 7 assists. The girls will play again this weekend at Southwood for the Southwood Invite.
The varsity eagles swept conference opponent, Elwood, last night in three sets. Stats and scores are listed below. 25-9 25-15 25-7 Addison Carey led the team with 3 aces off of 18 service attempts. Lilly Edwards, Ryleigh Myers, Kalinn Larimore and Morgan Cates each had 2 kills a piece. Morgan Cates finished with 13 kills and Brianna Dailey had 11 kills. Londyn Frank in third with 6 kills. Lilly Edwards finished with 13 digs. Brianna Dailey had 2 solo blocks and 2 block assists. Morgan Cates had 2 solo blocks also. Londyn Frank ended with 21 assists. The varsity will play again on Monday at home against Lapel.
The Oak Hill Lady Eagles improved to 10-0-1 last night after defeating the Braves of Maconaquah 3-0. Landri Hardman scored 2 goals for the Eagles and Kora Pond scored 1. Jolee Hawkins had 2 saves in goal. The Lady Eagles will host Alexandria on Saturday at 11am.
