The Wabash Lady Apache soccer team came up with a big road win at Tri-Central with a score of 4-0.
Freshman goalkeeper Brynn Lindsay earns her first shutout and win with 10 saves on the night, including a direct kick from just outside the 18 that was sailing in and she made a diving save to keep a clean sheet. Senior Raegan Jones started the scoring off for the Apaches and then freshman Baelee Noland put away her first varsity goal and senior Logan Wright put one away to put Wabash up 3-0 at halftime. Very strong defense tonight from senior Jaycee Jones, sophomores Colleena Meadows and Olivia Wilkin and freshman Ember Christle to help maintain the shutout. Our midfield of Noland, R. Jones, Alyssa Rose and Hope Fritter maintained possession and fueled the offense. Wright was able to put one more away in the 2nd half off a great ball from Wilkin. Assists tonight came from Wright, Noland and Wilkin (2). The Wabash Lady Apaches are back in action again on Saturday at Eastern at 10am.
