The Northfield Lady Norse basketball team defeated Manchester 55-54 with a controversial finish Saturday.
With Northfield leading 55-54 with 2.2 seconds left in the game, Emma Walker banked in a half court shot at the buzzer, presumably giving the Squires the win before officials confirmed the clock did not start until after the bucket and made the two teams replay the last 2.2 in which the final attempt would be no good.
