The Manchester swim teams took on Wabash Wednesday.
The Squire boys swim team battled Wabash to a 59-59 tie on Wednesday night. Jet Thomas led the way for Manchester with a pair of individual wins in the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke. Eli Garcia grabbed another victory for Squires, winning the 100 backstroke. The 200 medley relay team of Thomas, Kai Elliott, Evan Bennett, and Gabe Selleck also took first place.
The girls swim team fell to Wabash by a score of 49-72. Sophie Cumberland remained undefeated in individual events for the season, winning the 200 IM and 500 freestyle. The Squires will return to action on Monday when they’ll host Columbia City and celebrate senior night.
