The Northfield wrestling team defeated Wes-Del 65-16 Tuesday.
The Northfield Norsemen celebrated a historic night at home, honoring seven seniors—Brayden Rice, Wyatt Steller, Ike Stakeman, Tate Barlow, Kale Coleman, Xavier Roark, and Luke Eviston—alongside an incredible group of alumni who packed the house from the Class of 1964 to 2025.
Special recognition was given to Don Griffin, honored as the longest-standing alumni from the Class of 1964, a true pioneer of Northfield Wrestling.
On the mat, Northfield dominated Wes-Del (WEDE) with a commanding 65–16 victory, highlighted by pins from Tate Barlow (1:41), Luke Eviston (2:31), and Rylan Schultz (1:26). Elijah Gahl added a decisive 20-3 tech fall, while seniors Brayden Rice and Kale Coleman capped the night with wins.
