The Wabash High School boys track team competed in their first meet of the season Saturday – an indoor contest at IWU.
Veteran stalwart Coleson Kugler came in 2nd in the 60m while returning thrower Braxten Beeks threw a opening mark personal best in the shot put – 41’9″ Tyler Wardwell, Ian Edmond, and Keitaro Nagahama made their career debuts in the 4×200 relay along with senior Prestyn Jones, back after a two year absence. They competed valiantly, coming in 18th. Freshmen Keaton Fairchild competed in his first high school meet placing 32nd in the shot put.
