Wabash Boys Track Takes On Peru

The Wabash High School Mens Track Team hosted Peru Thursday in their first home meet of the season.

Senior Coleson Kugler won both the 100 and 400 while some younger athletes had tremendous performances. Braxten Beeks won both the shot put with a 42′ 7.5″ and discus with a throw of 141′ 10.5″ The distance races were dominated by Wabash. In the 1600 the Apaches took 5 of the first 6 places. Ezra Church won with Kamden Oswalt 2nd, James Unger 3rd, and Luis Trejo 4th. Carsen Morgan came in 6th. Oswalt, Unger, Trejo, and Morgan all set new personal records. In the 800 Wabash went 1-2 with James Unger taking first and Kamden Oswalt 2nd. The 3200 was another 1-2 finish for Wabash with duo of Kalib Mabery and Landen Fisher. The pole vault produced a 1-4 finish for the Apaches as Ian Edmond won followed by Landon Schuler, Matthew Niles, and Michael LePage. Full results are below.
