Maconaquah Baseball defeats Hamilton Heights 4-0

Jack Gochenhour lead off the first inning with a single to left, then stole second. Then Kobe Bowman laced a two out double to center field to plate Gochenhour. That was all Deven Mitchell needed as he threw a no hit shut out while striking out 10.
The Braves got homeruns from Randy Landrum and Gochenhour to add to the lead. Caiden Richards hit a sac fly in the 6th to notch the final score at 4-0. The Braves also received a hit from Brayden Tabler.
The no hitter was in trouble when a Huskie hitter roped a ball to the left center field gap, but Braves left fielder Cohen Helmuth on a full sprint laid out for the diving catch to rob the Huskie hitter of a single in the 4th.

The Braves are now 4-2 on the season and head to Twin Lakes Saturday morning for a JV/Varsity double header.
