The Manchester Lady Squires put together a strong team performance Wednesday night, earning a 7–4 win over Northfield.
Manchester broke things open in the third inning, showcasing timely hitting and aggressive baserunning. Allie Egolf sparked the rally with a clutch double to bring in two, followed by RBIs from Alexis Jarrett and Finley Espeset to give the Squires early control of the game.
In the circle, Elin Betten delivered a solid outing to earn the win, striking out four over 3.2 innings. Karsen Niccum came in to provide key relief and help secure the victory.
At the plate, the Squires stayed disciplined and relentless. Espeset led the way with two hits, while Jarrett and Egolf each drove in a pair of runs. Ava Sautter showed great patience, drawing three walks as part of a strong team effort that totaled eight walks and kept constant pressure on the defense. Manchester also stayed aggressive on the bases, swiping four bags.

The Squires are back in action at home Thursday as they take on Southwood at 7pm.
