The Manchester Squires played host to Benton Central at Wabash Friday, jumping out to a 21-0 first half lead enroute to a 35-14 win.
The Squires did all the scoring in the first half. In the first quarter, after a Maddux Greer TD run was called back, Hunter Hamilton would break loose from 55yds out to make it 7-0.
Manchester would get two touchdown runs from Cody Carroll in the second quarter, one from 43yds and one from 41yds to make it 21-0 at the half.
Benton Central crossed the line first in the third quarter on a 6yd pass play before Carroll found Greer who raced 61yds to paydirt for a 28-7 lead.
Carroll would score one more time in the fourth before the Squires called off the dogs, winning 35-14.
