A short handed Northfield Lady Norse team won their season opener at Mississinewa 46-33 Friday.
The team had a very impressive defensive showing in the 4th quarter limiting the Lady Indians to just 4 points
Northfield was lead by the 1-2 punch of Teagan Baer and Faith Krom scoring 18 and 17 respectively.
The Lady Norse jv battled hard and come out on top, defeating Mississinewa 28-25.
