The Golden Eagles opened up conference play convincingly defeating the Indians 63-39! After a back and forth first quarter the Eagles dominated the 2nd quarter turning up the pressure and winning the quarter 19-5 to take a 17 point lead in to the half. The Eagles cruised from there extending the lead and holding Mississinewa under 40 winning 63-39. The Golden Eagles got contributions from all that played tonight! Landon Biegel led the charge with a quiet 25 points and Ty Fagan was next with a loud 18! Rounding out the scoring was Caleb Kroll with 8, Levi Trexler with 5, Grant Elzinga with 4, and Matthew Strange with 3. The Eagles make a quick turnaround as they host Maconaquah tomorrow with a 6:00 JV start.
