The Manchester boys junior high basketball teams won two games over Peru Monday.
The Peru Tigers came to Manchester to play the Squires. The Squires built a little bit of a lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Tigers got a few buckets right before halftime to make the score 19-9 after 2 quarters. In the second half the Squires were able to build on the lead and finish off the game with a 42-15 victory.
Manchester’s next outing will be against Northfield for another conference opponent, on Thursday night.

Manchester came out early and took the lead and held it the whole game. Proud of the boys and their effort tonight! They are now 3-0 in confernce and 5-5 overall. Manchester 8th grade will be back in acton Thursday at Northfield.
