Southwood Girls/Manchester Boys Grab Wins
The Manchester girls and boys basketball teams played host to Southwood Friday.
In the girls game Southwood defeated Manchester 61-57
Ella Haupert led the Lady Knights with 24 points. Meredith Norman added 8, Gracie Lambert 11, Makenna Younce 5, Aleia Sweet 10, Macy Barney 2.
Brookelynn Buzzard led Manchester with 22 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists. Gracie Lauer had 17 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 steals. Hadley West added 8 points, 3 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Molly Schannep added 4 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 assist. Kim Schroll had 6 points and 7 rebounds. Aliala Atienza, Peyton Ream, Maddy Miller and Olivia Neal added great defensive minutes.

Manchester won the boys game 71-67.
The Squires fought back in the fourth quarter and out scored the Knights 15-2. Gavin Betten finished with 31 points, Gavin Martin 14, Ethan Hendrix 9, Trevor Heath 7, Tyler McLain 7, and Tallon Torpy 3.
The Knights had all five scorers in double figures with Will Winer leading the way with 20 points.

Manchester won the girls junior varsity game 47-22. The Squires also won the boys junior varsity game 51-49 in overtime.
