Boys Varsity Golf finishes 3rd place at CIC Meet

The Oak Hill Eagles battled the wind and the golf course to finish 3rd in the CIC Championship. The Eagles were led by Trent Nelson and Carson Hess with 77’s. Trent and Carson were named to the All Conference Team. Brayden Sommers fired an 88 and earned 2nd team All Conference honors.

Varsity baseball stumbles in bad 6th inning to fall in 1st game of Miami County Tourney

The golden eagles varsity baseball team couldn’t hold a 5-3 lead going in to the 6th inning of the semi-final game of the Miami County Tourney vs. Maconaquah.

Senior Gavin Hazelwood was outstanding on the mound and sustain a tough loss going 5.2 innings, 1 earned run, 3 K.

Peyton Workman, Trenner Boswell, and Dylan Archer each had 2 hits.

Bats come alive for Oak Hill varsity baseball in consolation win

Senior Peyton Workman had 3 hits (2 singles and a double) and 2 stolen bases to lead the Golden Eagles to a Miami County consolation win vs. North Miami.

Matthew O’Banion got the win on the mound going 5 innings, 6 K, 2 BB, and just 1 unearned run. Cam Aguilar and Emmett Dorothy each collected 2 hits. Sophomore Landon Watts continued his late season hot streak with 2 RBI.

Peyton Workman and Matthew O’Banion were named all tourney team for the day.
