The Manchester softball team fell short 9-8 to the Whitko Wildcats in sectional action Monday.
Ava Sautter and Hadley West were the hitting stars on the night. Ava had a 3 run homer that put Manchester up 8-4 at the time. Hadley added 2 hits and 3 stolen bases. Samantha Shock had a spectacular shoe top catch on the defensive end.
