The Manchester Squires varsity volleyball team moved to 2-0 on the year, picking up an early season conference win against the Peru Tigers winning in 3 sets 25-13, 25-14, 25-19.
The Squires had a balanced hitting attack with Izzy Renz leading the way with 11 kills. Ava Felgar and Myla Crozier both had 7 kills. Lauryn Reichenbach and Peyton Ream both contributed 4 kills.
Marley Bellinger, Hadley West, Myla Crozier, Peyton Ream, and Brilee Enyeart passed solidly defensively and in serve receive.
Lauryn Reichenbach had 3 solo blocks and 1 block assist and did a great job of slowing down the Tiger attack.
Peyton Ream set another nice game getting all of her hitters involved while picking up 26 assists on the night.
The Squires are back in action on Thursday as they travel down IN-13 and take on the Golden Eagles of Oak Hill High School
