However, the defense was not done yet as they forced a safety on the next drive. Parker got the ball back and picked up the final score of the game on a 52 yard run. In a game where Wawasee had the ball almost double the amount of time as the Vikings, the Wrecking Crew Defense was too much for the Warriors to handle. The Wrecking Crew held the Warriors to 98 yards rushing and 12 yards passing. The Valley D also picked up both fumbles that were coughed up by Wawasee and also forced a safety.

Offensively, the Vikings racked up 211 rushings yards and 47 passing yards. Wes Parker led the way on the ground with 149 rushings yards and 3 touchdowns on only 4 rushes. Grady Moriarty picked up 26 yards followed by Brandon Stiles with 25. Brock Derf powered his way into the end zone inside the five and totaled 20 yards all together. Wyatt Hart also contributed with 7 yards. Jamison Philips was able to sneak it in for paydirt as well. Philips also found the endzone with his arm with a 47 yard touchdown pass to Owen Omondi.

Its the Battle of the Bell next week as Valley hosts Rochester. Valley will look to continue their winning streak against the Zebras with kickoff set for 7pm.
