The Lady Eagles picked up their 4th win of the season tonight with a victory over the Manchester Squires. The Eagles scored 3 goals in each half of the game. Landri Hardman and Erika Newhouse each scored 2 goals. Kora Pond and Lexi Nuber each had 1. Amaia Blades had an assist. Liz Godfrey had 5 saves in goal. The defense of Audrey Rex, Callie Nuber, Cail Bowlin, Riley Alfandre, and Emi Babinski helped hold the Squires scoreless. The team plays at home on Saturday against Northwestern. Start time is 12:00.
The Boys Varsity Soccer Golden Eagles tied 0-0 last night against the Tigers. This was their fourth straight draw and away game. Oak Hill had 18 shots while the Tigers only had 9 shots.
They go into another away game tomorrow (Saturday) at Kokomo with a 0-0-4 record so far this season. Game time is 12:30p.m.
The JV Boys Soccer team took a loss last night to the Tigers with a final score of 2-1 in their favor. The Eagles scored first in the 6th minute with a goal by Manny Mora. The Tigers then answered with a goal in the 18th minute with a halftime tie of 1-1. The Tigers scored the go ahead goal in the 48th minute of the game.
JV returns in action tomorrow (Saturday) away at Kokomo following the Varsity game at approx. 2:00p.m.
